The Industrial Internet Consortium Hosts Smart Factory Forum
NEEDHAM, MA – November 28, 2016 – The Industrial Internet Consortium® (IIC), the global, member-supported organization that promotes the accelerated growth of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), will host the Smart Factory Forum, a public forum to discuss challenges and best practices for implementing IIoT solutions within smart factories.
The forum will feature keynote speakers from Bosch, Nestlé, Boeing and General Mills who will share how they are using the industrial Internet for manufacturing solutions within their own organizations. There will also be a one-hour panel session discussing how to apply the IIC’s Industrial Internet Security Framework to the unique security challenges in smart factories.
