The Industrial Internet Consortium Member Pavilion at Hannover Messe
Hannover Messe offers five leading international trade fairs taking place at the same time under one roof. All key technologies and core areas of industry – from research and development, industrial automation, IT, industrial supply, production technologies and services to energy and mobility technologies – can be found in Hannover.
Join us at the Industrial Internet Consortium Pavilion, where 12 member companies will be presenting on their latest Industrial Internet innovations and still more will be demonstrating innovative testbeds designed for the industrial Internet.
joint SECURITY DEMONSTRATION
Industrial Internet Consortium & Plattform Industrie 4.0 Collaboration
Our pavilion also hosts a joint security demonstration developed by members of the Industrial Internet Consortium and Plattform Industrie 4.0. We have been collaborating for over a year and one of the many outcomes of this partnership and a testbed development process is a joint demonstration of Industrial Internet security. Twenty-four companies are contributing to this demonstration – some within the pavilion, some at other locations within Hannover Messe and others completely remotely. Participating companies are aicas, Belden/GarrettCom/Hirschmann/Tripwire, Cisco, Dell Technologies/RSA, Electric Imp, Fujitsu, GlobalSign, Infineon Technologies, Intel, Kaspersky Lab,Microsoft, Plethora IIoT, Robert Bosch, Real-Time Innovations, SAP SE, Schneider Electric, SICK AG, Siemens, Smart Connect Technologies, SoCe, UL (Underwriters Laboratories), Waterfall Security, Wibu-Systems and Xilinx.
Read the related press release and listen to a podcast recorded by Sven Schrecker, Chief Architect, IoT Security - Intel and co-chair of the Joint Task Group on Security.
TSN TESTBED DEMONSTRATION
Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) is a new technology that enhances Ethernet, a foundational piece of the Internet of Things (IoT). Our TSN Testbed endeavors to apply new TSN technology in a manufacturing system with a wide range of automation and control vendors, to display the new capabilities and value of TSN. Members participating in the TSN Testbed are Belden/Hirschmann, Bosch Rexroth, B&R Industrial Automation, Cisco, Innovasic, Intel, KUKA, National Instruments, Renesas Electroncs Corp., Schneider Electric, SICK AG, TTTech and Xilinx. See the testbed in action in our pavilion.
sECURITY CLAIMS EVALUATION TESTBED
Understanding the security needs of components in a system and having metrics to evaluate those needs very early in product development can address security concerns prior to product launch. Our Security Claims Evaluation Testbed aims to enable manufacturers to improve the security posture of their products and verify alignment to the Industrial Internet Security Framework prior to product launch to help accelerate time to market. Members participating in this testbed are aicas, GlobalSign, Infineon, Real-Time Innovations, UL and Xilinx. Visit our pavilion to see this testbed in action.
Forum Industrie 4.0 Meets the Industrial Internet
